Kits parts for constructing the power adapter for ubitx case.
1 PCB for power adapter
2 On Off switch.
3. Fuse holder.
4. D C Socket.
5. Relimate wire 3 pin.
In picture above also shown the SO239 antenna connector and Rg174u cable for antenna.
Step 1 solder diode IN4007 on pcb as in picture. The diode is connected across the power supply line and works as a fuse if the power is applied in reverse.
Step 2. Solder a short length of green wire on the ground pad of the board. Also tin the other pads with flowing some solder on them. Now the board is ready for fuse and switch to be mounted on it.
Step 3. Clean the terminals of the fuse holder and on off switch with a hobby knife, as this will make soldering much easier.
Step 4. Solder a short length of red wire on the dc socket. The other end to be soldered on the fuse holder terminal. The other leg of fuse holder gets soldered on the board.
Step 5. Mount the on off switch. Fuse holder and dc socket on the rear panel. The antenna connector can be mounted later.
Step 6.. Mounted fuse holder and on off switch with the board. Do not push the pcb too far at end of switch terminals.
Keep them just at the tip of the terminals. Use solder iron with care and do not apply much heat on the switch or it may melt. Place soldering iron on the pcb soldering point and just slightly touching the terminals and flow solder. Now the switch and fuse have been soldered.
Step 7. Solder the brown and red wires of a 3 pin Relimate wire together this will be soldered on the positive pad on the power pcb. Now solder the positive and negative wires on the board. The other end can later be plugged into the ubitx board power in
Now the power board module is ready. Apply power and check if you are getting supply on the board where the 3 pin Relimate wire is soldered. Now your power module is ready for use.
Finally mount the antenna so239 connector and complete the rear panel construction.
